FAQ

How far in advance do I need to make an appointment?

We are usually able to take bookings 90 min before if you call us on the phone. It all depends on how things actually are on each particular day. So, as soon as you get an idea about when you want the session, please do give us a call and we will do our best to match it .

What type of Massage is right for me?

This depends on many factors. We encourage our clients to ask questions at the phone and we will guide you through choosing the right service for you.

How much space is needed for the massage table?

Not so much – 240 cm length and 120cm wide area is needed for the therapist to set up the massage table and have enough room to move around comfortably.

Do you have incall services?

Yes, we just opened our centre in the heart of Bucharest, close to many central hotels on Victoriei Street: Radisson, Hilton, Grand Hotel Continental, Novotel etc.

Do I need to remove my clothing?

Yes. During a table massage, you keep the underwear and a bra (for women), though you may be asked to remove a obstructive jewelry. You must have your own towel to cover the areas of your body witch are not massaged. Also you can use your own tower on the table under you.

What if I want to extend my session?

You can extend your session if the therapist has no other booking right after yours. He/she will call to ask and then will inform you.

Are gratuities or tips expected?

Gratuities are not expected or necessary, but of course they are an excellent way to let the massage therapists know they’ve done an outstanding job.

Do they use oils during the table massage?

Yes. We made our own mixture of grapes seed oil, rise oil and essential natural oils. If you would like to use your own oil is fine for us.

What if I want more or less pressure or to insist on some body parts where I am stiff?

Just ask! Our massage therapists are trained to adapt to a wide variety of body types and sensitivities to pressure.

Are there contraindications for massage?

Yes. Medical contraindications include but are not limited to: uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled diabetes, fractures, herniated discs, malignancy, numbness or tingling in any part of the body, especially the hands and feet. Please inform your massage therapist of any acute or ongoing health conditions before the massage.

What hygiene precautions are taken at Mobile Massage?

All vinyl surfaces of the table and the hands of the therapist are sanitized with antibacterial wipes before each massage and a fresh one use cover is installed.

How often should I get a massage?

If time and money were not considerations, how often would you like to feel relaxed and stress free? That’s how often you should get a massage. At least 1 time/week though.

What is the difference between a normal relaxing massage and one of four hands?

Very simple – the experience and relaxation is more intense, doubles and that is the effect both on the body as well as in the mind. Also you can relax more quickly in a shorter time.

Can I have the therapist work on just one area?

At the beginning of the massage the therapist will ask if you have any specific concerns. If you’d like the massage therapist to focus on one specific area, just ask.

If we are a couple and would like to have the same therapist is ok?

Yes, the therapist will massage you both one by one. If you want the massage in the same time, then please ask for 2 therapists.

I’m pregnant. Can I still get a massage?

Absolutely. Massage can be very beneficial for women during pregnancy. However, be sure to let the massage therapist know you are pregnant so they can assure your safety and comfort. This is especially true if you are in the first trimester, when it may not be obvious that you are pregnant

Does Mobile Massage have gift certificates?
